When you visit or use any tool on Tool Xeno, you're accepting these Terms of Use. If something here doesn't work for you, please don't use the site — it's that simple.

These terms apply to everyone who uses Tool Xeno, whether you're cropping an image, converting a file, or just browsing around. You don't need to create an account or sign anything — using the site is all it takes.

We offer tools for image editing, file conversion, text manipulation, and more. All of them run entirely in your web browser using client-side technology. That means your data stays on your computer, phone, or tablet at all times.

The tools are provided as-is, for free, and we're constantly working to improve them. Sometimes things might break or behave unexpectedly — we'll do our best to fix issues quickly, but we can't promise everything will always work perfectly.

We built these tools for everyone, and we want them to be useful. Here's what's fair game:

• Use any tool as often as you'd like — there are no usage limits or quotas
• Process as many files as you need — no caps, no paywalls
• Use the results however you want — cropped images, converted files, and other outputs are yours
• Share Tool Xeno with friends, colleagues, or anyone who might find it helpful

And here's what's not okay:

• Trying to break, hack, or disrupt the site or its tools in any way

You own all the files you work with — that's never in question. Since everything processes locally in your browser, your content never passes through our servers. You don't need to worry about us claiming any rights to your images, documents, or data.

That said, you're responsible for making sure you have the right to process any files you use with our tools — especially if they contain content owned by someone else.

We want to be honest: Tool Xeno is a free service, and while we put a lot of care into building it, we can't make guarantees. Specifically:

• We don't guarantee the tools will always be available, error-free, or meet your specific needs
• We don't guarantee the results will be perfect — for example, image quality after compression depends on the original file
• We don't guarantee the site will work with every browser, device, or operating system out there

Think of it like a free public tool — it's well-maintained, but you use it at your own risk. For critical work, we recommend keeping backups of your original files before processing them.

Since Tool Xeno is free and processes everything on your device, our liability is very limited. We're not responsible for:

• Any loss of data, files, or content — always keep backups of important files
• Any damage to your device or software resulting from using (or not being able to use) our tools
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses tied to your use of the site
• The actions of third-party advertisers displayed on our site

This isn't us trying to dodge responsibility — it's just the reality of providing free, client-side tools. Your files never leave your device, so we have no way of affecting them beyond what the browser tools do.

Tool Xeno — the design, branding, tool implementations, and overall experience — belongs to us. You're welcome to use the tools, but you can't copy, redistribute, or create derivative services from them without our permission.

The "Tool Xeno" name, logo, and visual identity are our property. Please don't use them to represent your own products or services.

On the flip side, anything you create using our tools — cropped images, converted files, processed text — belongs entirely to you. We claim zero ownership over your output.

Our site may include links to external websites or display advertisements from third-party networks. We don't control these external resources, and we're not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability.

Clicking an ad or visiting an external link means you're subject to that site's own terms and policies — not ours. We encourage you to read them before interacting with any third-party service.

We might update these terms from time to time as Tool Xeno evolves. When we make changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.

We won't make drastic changes quietly — if something significant shifts, we'll do our best to make it visible. Still, it's a good idea to check back occasionally so you stay in the loop.

You can stop using Tool Xeno anytime — there's no account to close or process to follow. Just close the tab and you're done.

We also reserve the right to restrict access to the site for anyone who violates these terms. We'd rather not, but we will if someone is abusing the service or causing problems for other users.

These terms are governed by and interpreted under applicable laws. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect. If you have a dispute with us, we'd much rather talk it out first — just reach out.
